Tips on how to argue without spoiling your relationships.
We all have lots of relationships in our lives – with loved ones, workmates, friends, family members, professionals to name but a few. But do you find yourself arguing a lot with people? Have you become isolated because of it? Here are some tips in a fun video with a serious message to help you think about the way you argue and how to improve the way you talk to people to get the best results.
If you find that you are getting angry a lot of the time perhaps it’s time to speak to your GP and find a way to get help, but if your arguments are because you feel frustrated you can’t get your point across in the right way, maybe you can try out different ways to talk to others.
You can’t change other people, but you can change the way they react to you by doing something different. Just listening instead of jumping in to the discussion can give you time to really understand what the other person is saying. If you want to discuss something difficult with someone then taking some time first to plan what you want to say can help.
